Over the weekend, new photos of rapper Blueface surfaced on social media, revealing a striking physical transformation and a set of fresh face tattoos, all from inside prison.
Posing alongside two fellow inmates, the 27-year-old appeared noticeably more muscular, his chiseled frame sparking a wave of speculation online. Many fans were quick to suggest steroid use as the reason behind his bulked-up appearance.
Currently serving a four-year sentence for violating probation, Blueface has remained in the spotlight despite his incarceration.
The latest buzz around his physical change has only added to his viral presence, though not everyone is buying into the steroid rumors — especially not his mother, Karlissa Saffold.
“I ain’t never seen nobody on steroids put on that kind of weight and be that kind of zoned in,” she said in a candid video clip shared to social media.
“I ain’t never seen him this mentally strong or this physically strong in his entire life. So whatever them sh*ts is, honey, he might need to keep doing them.”
She shut down the steroid claims even further, saying, “No. How the hell he going to get some steroids? He barely getting some goddamn food in there.”
According to Saffold, her son is far from broken by prison life. “I think if he was going to be depressed, that would have been much earlier on,” she said. “I think he’s very excited to get out and make his moves. He has a new love interest. She’s very supportive.” That new partner has been identified as a woman named Angela.
With his release date approaching, Saffold is planning a “welcome home” celebration for Nov. 29, 2025.
