Herro played high school ball at Whitnall High School in Greenfield, Wisconsin before moving onto the University of Kentucky for one season. The Heat then selected him with the 13th overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft.
Herro’s new tattoos are in addition to previous tattoos he received, including the Milwaukee Brewers symbol, a homage to Greenfield, which is in the Milwaukee metropolitan area.
Per Sportskeeda, Herro also has a tattoo of the slogan (“No Work, No Check”) across his chest as well as a large cross. That’s in addition to tattoos of a lion, a butterfly and MKE for Milwaukee.
Herro has played in the NBA for five seasons, averaging 18.1 points per game. He earned Sixth Man of the Year honors in 2021-22 and has helped the Heat win the Eastern Conference title during the 2019-20 and 2022-23 seasons.
